More than 1,000 women and girls gathered in Hong Kong to perform a mass Yangge, a Chinese folk dance that combines music, props and physical feats, to challenge a Guinness World Record.
The "Hong Kong in Motion, Yangge in Energy" event was held at the Kowloon waterfront on March 6.
It was still pending on whether a world record for the largest number of people dancing the Yangge had been set. The current record was set in June 2013 by 372 dancers in Changchun, Jilin Province.
