Director Barclay meets with Governor of Arkansas

Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York (HKETONY) Mr. Steve Barclay visited Arkansas and met with Governor Asa Hutchinson on April 16. In their talks, Mr. Barclay highlighted Hong Kong's four key industries: financial services, trading and logistics, tourism and professional services. They also discussed other areas of mutual interest between Arkansas and Hong Kong.

During his visit to Arkansas, Mr. Barclay also met with key officials of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), including Mr. Michael Preston, Executive Director; Mr. Danny Games, Deputy Director, Global Business; and Mr. Mark Hamer, Director, Business Development (Asia). At the meeting, Mr. Barclay explained the difference between the business environments of mainland China and that of Hong Kong.

Mr. Barclay also attended a luncheon with business leaders from the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.
