Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York Presents Charity Checks


Three New York-based nonprofit groups received US$7,500 on behalf of participants of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York (HKDBF-NY) 2014 Charity Boat Race at today's (November 6) press conference held at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York.

In attendance were the HKDBF-NY organizers, sponsors, charity race winners and representatives of the beneficiary charities. Mr Steve Barclay, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York presented the checks on behalf of HKDBF-NY 2014, DCH Auto Group, HSBC Bank USA & Shanghai Commercial Bank, to the three charities: Chinatown Health Clinic Foundation, Chinatown YMCA and National Association of Asian American Professionals New York Chapter.
