HKETONY director explores ties with Philadelphia

During a duty visit to the City of Brotherly Love, Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, New York (HKETONY) Steve Barclay called on Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney on June 3.

During the meeting, they discussed fostering closer business and cultural ties between Hong Kong and Philadelphia.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Barclay explored possible collaboration opportunities with University City Science Center’s president Stephen S. Tang, vice president Christopher J. Liang and director of business incubation Adam Greenspan.

They discussed ways of fostering technology and innovation startups in both cities.

Mr. Barclay also spoke to students and faculty members at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business about work and business opportunities in Hong Kong.
