Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York Steve Barclay congratulated the HKETONY Arts Fellows, visual artist Parry Ling and contemporary dancer Hao Yang, on their respective showcase events at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas (IFAI)  in New Haven, Conn., in June.

The exhibition and dance performance were the culmination of an arts fellowship that started in 2014.

Mr. Ling’s interactive installation, titled “I Have a Dream,” explores environmental sustainability. Mr. Yang’s work, “Pied à Terre,” which had its world premiere at the Hong Kong Arts Festival in March, reflects the dancer’s experience at the crossroads of East and West.
