Arts fellows announced for New York cultural exchange

Among the Asian Cultural Council’s (ACC) representatives from Hong Kong and China taking part in intensive cultural exchanges in New York City this year, three grant recipients in arts administration and performing arts are being supported by Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York (HKETONY).

Brief bios of the HKETONY-ACC fellows:

  • Jass LEUNG Wai Sze, a performing-arts critic, researcher and part-time professor at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts’ School of Drama
  • Adrian YEUNG Chun-yip, a multimedia designer and theater director who has participated in more than 40 productions, including drama, dance and music performances
  • Connie LAM Suk-yee, the executive director of Hong Kong Arts Centre as well a member of the Hong Kong Film Development Council

The fellowship program allows the three outstanding Hong Kong artists to go to the U.S. for intensive cultural exchanges in 2015 and 2016. Their residencies will be based in New York City.
