Hong Kong brands shine at New York Fashion Week

Fashion Guerilla NYC 2015 aims to promote emerging Hong Kong fashion labels.

Fashion Guerilla, a catwalk show showcasing four distinguished Hong Kong fashion brands, was presented to a full house of prospective buyers, merchandisers and journalists during New York Fashion Week in New York City on September 15.

Supported by Create Hong Kong and organized by Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF), the runway show aimed to promote Hong Kong-based designer brands to markets all over the world, including New York. The four fashion labels were Daydream Nation, Methodology, Placed by Gideon and INJURY.

They were joined by six other Hong Kong fashion brands (Berayah, Matter Matters, Playback Concept, The World is Your Oyster, TwS and Yeung Chin)  in a three-day exhibition in Manhattan.

Since 2012, more than 30 Hong Kong brands have participated in FFF’s “Fashion Guerilla” overseas program in Paris, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing and Shanghai.
