American ice-cream brand Emack & Bolio’s, which has rock ‘n’ roll roots from Boston, opened its first store in Hong Kong, bringing its hippie ice-cream concept to the city.

Located in downtown Central , Emack & Bolio's offers more than 30 flavor combinations of ice cream, sorbet and frozen yogurt served in its signature flavored cones for sweets lovers. It also provides hand-crafted ice-cream cakes, freshly blended smoothies, milkshakes, chocolates and a selection of hot and cold beverages.

James Gibson, CEO of Emack & Bolio’s HK Limited, said the international environment of Hong Kong is a big appeal to promote the brand further in Asia. “I couldn't be more proud and excited to bring Emack & Bolio's to Hong Kong - a city that demands and deserves the very best,” he said.

Director of Emack & Bolio’s HK Limited Raymond Shuai added that the company chose to set up in Hong Kong because “people here appreciate innovation in foods, and the city is a great launch pad into mainland China, Macau and other parts of Asia.”
