Hong Kong Chief Executive C. Y. Leung met the visiting United States Congressional delegation led by the co-chairs of the U.S.-China Working Group, Rick Larsen and Charles Boustany, at Government House on March 22 to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr. Leung updated the delegation on the latest developments in Hong Kong and the city’s role as the “super-connector” in linking the U.S. to markets both in mainland China and across Asia. Mr. Leung said he hopes that Hong Kong and the U.S. will continue their frequent exchanges on all fronts.
Mr. Leung encouraged more U.S. enterprises to invest in Hong Kong and make use of the close links between the territory and the Mainland to explore the Chinese market.
