'Hong Kong 2010' yearbook now a free iPad app

A new iPad application (app) for the government yearbook "Hong Kong 2010" can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store.

The Information Services Department (ISD) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on October 14 launched a new iPad application (app) for the government’s latest yearbook, “Hong Kong 2010.”

The app can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store by searching for “Hong Kong Yearbook.”

“Hong Kong 2010” is a useful reference source providing in-depth accounts of government policies and activities and an overview of Hong Kong life and developments in 2010.

The yearbook’s 21 chapters cover a wide range of subjects, including the economy, commerce and industry, employment, the environment, social welfare, education, infrastructural development, culture and recreation, sports and the arts.

The app is available in traditional Chinese and English.

Apart from being accessible through the App Store, the app also can be downloaded from the ISD website [www.isd.gov.hk] or the government yearbook website [www.yearbook.gov.hk], connecting to the App Store.
