GDP grew 6.8% in 3rd quarter
Hong Kong's economy remained robust in the third quarter of 2010, with real GDP expanding briskly by 6.8% year-on-year, following strong 7.2% growth in the first half of the year.

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) Staff Mission to Hong Kong raised its forecast for Hong Kong's economic growth and maintained its long-standing support for the Linked Exchange Rate System (LERS).

Moody's upgrades Hong Kong's ratings and outlook
The Hong Kong government welcomed Moody's November 11 decision to upgrade the city's government bond ratings to "Aa1" from "Aa2" with "Positive" outlook.
