Asian Financial Forum to be held in Hong Kong on Jan. 19-20
Hong Kong will play host to many of the global financial community's most influential members during the Asian Financial Forum to be held January 19-20, 2009.
The forum will feature government leaders, institutional investors and senior executives of multinational corporations, who will exchange intelligence on the opportunities and challenges facing Asia's economic development.
Scheduled international speakers include: Dominique Strauss-Kahn, manager director of the International Monetary Fund; Alexei Leonidovich Kudrin, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation; and James Rogers, co-founder of the Quantum Fund.
Other esteemed speakers include the CEO of CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad; CEO of Standard Chartered Saadiq; Chair of China Investment Corp; Chief Economist of Dubai International Financial Centre; Chair of China Equities of JP Morgan; as well as Mr Joseph Yam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
