Commissioner Fong visits Chicago
Hong Kong Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs Margaret Fong (far right) called on Illinois Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn (center) in Chicago on August 8.
During the meeting, Miss Fong discussed the close trade relationship between Hong Kong and Illinois. She also briefed Lt. Gov. Quinn on the latest update on Hong Kong, including port and logistic developments, the Digital 21 strategy and the educational exchange programs between Hong Kong and Chicago universities. Director of the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in New York Monica Chen (far left) was also present at the meeting.
